Having used it very successfully for the treatment of migraine over the years, I decided to give acupuncture a try for my enthesitis.

Had my first session yesterday and it went very well. 18 acupuncture points were used. For those of you who have never tried acupuncture I can tell you that the insertion of the needles, which are hair fine, ranges from completely painless to less than the pain associated with having bloods taken, depending upon how tender an individual site is. We were concentrating on my left pelvis pain so the insertion points were around the lower part of my back and, strangely, one in each hand foot and calf.

Within minutes I felt the warm fuzzy glow of endorphins being released. Wonderful!

I slept much better than last night as a result, and going back next week for a no session!

Hi Paul

Interesting to hear about your acupuncture experiences - I've not tried it myself, so it's useful to know that it can have such a beneficial effect.

Hope your session next week is as good for you - Cheers - Sylvia xx

I have just been referred for acupuncture from the pain clinic. The NHS will offer me 6 free sessions to see if I gain any benefit. Good news Paul you have seen such an improvement. Hope the effect lasts.

I will let you know how I get on.

Best wishes
Rebecca
